Individual Note: Mary Catherine SHOVER was born 12 August 1783.
I found some information on a paper that was written
probably about 150 years ago stuck in the Bible on the KEPHART/GEPHART
family. Mary Catherine SHOVER married a Henry KEPHART on 28 Nov. 1802,
place unknown. Their children listed with Birthdates are the following:
George Kephart
John Kephart
Henry Kephart
Elizabeth Mary Ann Kephart
Simon Kephart.
On the back page lists some deaths with a Adam SHOVER listed. I don't
know if this is her father or maybe brother.
This Mary Catherine was married twice. First to Henry Kephart
and second to John Peter Slutman, where my wife descends from.

Individual Note:
My mother, MIRIAM Eliza Branham MYERS, is the daughter of ZADA LISTER who
was married to GEORGE BRANHAM, my grandfather. Zada was born 10 Mar 1886
not sure where yet, but she died 15 Sep 1926 in Tularosa NM where she was
taken to help her recover from TB though she did not recover, but wasn't
buried in Wichita KS, so says my mother Miriam who is still alive in Wichita
Kansas.
Nickie Myers, August 2005 (by email)
I just spoke to Mom (Miriam Branham Myers
Tombaugh) yesterday. I always try to get some information from her when I
can. We were talking about going to Cedarvale and find some of the graves
if she thought that might be fun. She said "that is where my mother is
buried".
Previously she told me that she (Zada Lister) was buried in Tularosa, NM.
Yesterday she said that is where she (ZADA) died, but that Papa (Rev. George
Branham) her father, had a truck and that they brought her back to Cedarvale
to bury her there. Apparently Grandpa Branham her father was a pastor for a
Baptist Church there in Cedarvale and they had taken Zada to NM when she
contracted TB and there she died. Now Mom (Miriam Branham Myers Tombaugh -
Mom remarried several years after my dad, Lloyd Murrell Myers, died in June
1962) was only about 10 years old and is 86 years old now, so before I write
in stone that she is buried anywhere, I shall have to find it for sure.
Since I just found this out I haven't had time to look on the Internet for a
Funeral Home in Cedarvale, and then cross my fingers that they have some
records that far back. Miracles do still happen
Zada Lister is my paternal grandmother and her father's line goes up through
James Alfred Lister, Alfred Lister, etc. On Zada's paternal side are the
Doty's that go back to the Mayflower and on to England. I have been working
on both of these to get past Alfred Lister b (no town or county or
birthdate)1804 PA married to Sara Haga b 07 Mar 1810 in Tuscarawas Co, OH
and married there Jul 1827, died in that county 27 Nov 1890.

Individual Note:
From literature regarding the holdings of the "Augusto Vernarecci Civic Museum" in Fossombrone, Italy. A Stele is included in their catalog from approximately 100 AD which was dedicated ("at public expense") to C. Corcilius Spica, who was a citizen of Berua or Retia. There is a web site in which this information came from: www.regione.marche.it/beniculturali/musei_inglese/pesaro/c_ar_12_.htm Note that the term 'Spica' is believed (re. Ernst Corcilius, May 2001) to mean a sentry or soldier. It is possible that the C. stands for Centurion.

Individual Note:
The first Crolius and the first Remmy married sisters, daughters of a stoneware potter, Georg Corcilius, who emigrated from the town of Nordhofen in the former Duchy of Weid-
Neuweid in the Rhineland region of Germany. Genealogical research done for Corcilius descendents has established that Georg and his family left the Rhineland for America sometime
after 1718, when they are last mentioned in parish records, and 1724, when Veronica Corcilius married Johann Willem Crolius, also from Weid-Neuweid, in New York City. Anna Corcilius
married Johannes Remmi (whose name became anglicized to John Remmey) in the early 1730s
(Ketchum 1991:40-41).

Note for: James A. Cornelius, 3 JUN 1873 - 1949 Index
Individual Note:
I have only the legend of my ancestry to go by. I have always been told that 2 Cornelius brothers
stowed away on a ship in Holland coming to America.
All I know is my great grandfather was George Cornelius from upstate New York. He had 2 sons I am
aware of. One was a Dentist and the other was an Undertaker in New YOrk. I don't know his age or death
date.
My grandfather was from a second marriage to an Elsie Vader or Cady. Even her maiden name is a toss up.
Their son James Abel Cornelius would only say he was from upstate New York and story has it he was
disowned by his father because he married beneath himself. My grandfather James A. was born July 3, 1873
in New York. He married my grandmother Emma Sibley Bates in Bay City, Michigan in 1898. James Abel
died in 1949 in Bay City Michigan. My father James Frederick Cornelius was born 1914 in Bay City,
Michigan.
