History of Perry County, Ohio, by Clement L. Martzolff, 1902:
P99 : 1806 Zion's Church of Thorn township was begun. This was erected by the Lutheran and German Reformed congregations and is the second oldest in the county. It had a pipe organ built by Henry Humberger.
P124: Several years before the Colt's Revolvers were invented, Adam Humberger, a gunsmith in Somerset had made three models. He also invented a corn harvester but died before it was perfected.
