Have death certificate. She came with her parents in a covered wagon to Cherokee Iowa in 1864. There was no town at jStorm Lake at that time, only a few houses at Sac City and no houses west of Sac City until the Little Sioux River was reached. She often tells her children of th eimte when Indians, during an uprising, came to her parents home in search of firearms and ammunition. The whites had been warned of a possible search, so their weapons of warfare had been safely hidden. However, the visit had its thrill when the Bennett dog bit one of the Indians who in turn pursued into the house of the whites and shot the dog where it had taken refuge under the bed.

There was an uncle named Jerry Bugh. I don't know how he is connected as an Uncle.

Myron and Emily lived in South Dakota during 1909 and 1910.

Have census records Federal, Iowa for several Jenness family members.
In South Dakota they built a two story, square structure, near Iroquis, south Dakota, Theodore and Nellie Dahlgren also lived there at the same time. Leonard Dahlgren was born there. Myron was a very good carpenter and he built the house which May Warburton has a picture of the house being built by her father.
