I have a copy of the marriage cert. from the state of Vermont, dated Sept. 25, 1897. Marriage between Alanson James Wainwright and Sadie E. Holcomb. Alanson was 22 years and Sadie was 19. It was the first marriage for both.
Alanson was born in Salisbury, VT and Sadie was born in Monkton, VT.
Alanson's father was Harry Alanson Wainwright, his mother was Ida L. Thomas Wainwright. Sadie's father was Leonard Holcomb, her mother was Hattie Page Holcomb. (I have the ORIGINAL marriage cert. for Hattie Page Holcomb, and Leonard Holcomb.)
